Civics is all around us. There is a lot to know about the government and how “We the People” interact with the government and each other.

New Civics in Real Life articles are released each week and offer students a one-page wealth of information about current events happening. 

The Lou Frey Institute at the University of Central Florida invites K-12 schools to participate in its Midterm Mock Election, an engaging, hands-on civic learning experience that gives students the opportunity to explore the electoral process and cast ballots in a simulated election. This nonpartisan program helps students build civic knowledge, practice informed decision-making, and better understand the role of elections in American democracy.
